Urgently Hiring: Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Officer – Manama, Bahrain

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Officer to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations, along with proven leadership skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics
• Professional certification from the International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (IPSCMI) such as:
  • Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP)
  • Certified International Procurement Manager (CIPM)
  • Certified International Purchasing Consultant (CIPC)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant work experience in procurement and supply chain management

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner while maintaining quality standards
• Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and contract management systems
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
• Lead negotiations to secure the best prices and contract terms
• Manage procurement budgets and monitor cost efficiency
• Forecast price trends and analyze their impact on business activities
• Oversee procurement strategy and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Stay updated on new technologies, market trends, and procurement regulations
• Manage online procurement systems and digital platforms effectively
