Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk / Store Keeper to manage daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will handle receiving, storing, and distributing products efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking product quantities and locations
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in stock audits
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet delivery deadlines
- Organize warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency
- Use appropriate storage methods to ensure product safety and accessibility
- Record all inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments
- Generate inventory and order fulfillment reports as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in warehouse training sessions on safety and procedures
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a warehouse clerk or store keeper preferred
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
