Showroom Salesman – Gudaibiya, Bahrain

We are looking for a motivated Showroom Salesman to join our tailoring shop in Gudaibiya, Bahrain. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow in sales and customer service.

Job Details:

• Contract: 1 year (renewable)
• Probation: 3 months
• Workdays: 6 days a week, 1 day off
• Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (8 hours total, with 3-hour lunch break)
• Overtime/Public Holidays: As per Bahrain Labour Law
• Vacation: 30 days annually (after probation)
• Air Ticket: Return economy ticket every 2 years to country of origin
• Visa: Provided
• Insurance: Company-provided at Al Hilal Hospital
• Salary: BHD 250 basic + BHD 50 allowance (housing and transport)

Job Summary

The Showroom Salesman will be the first point of contact for customers at our tailoring shop. The role involves assisting clients with fabric and design selection, managing orders, coordinating with tailors, and ensuring timely delivery with excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through fabrics, styles, and tailoring options.
• Record and manage customer orders accurately.
• Coordinate with masters and tailors to ensure proper production and timely completion.
• Track orders and confirm readiness for delivery.
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain the showroom’s presentation and fabric displays.
• Promote shop services to encourage repeat business and sales growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or retail (fashion or tailoring preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills for order tracking and follow-up.
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests under pressure.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Basic knowledge of tailoring, fabrics, or fashion retail is an advantage (training provided).
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
