Barista

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, provide excellent customer service, and support daily café operations. Job Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and other menu items according to company standards
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all drinks and food items
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, service area, and customer seating areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, packaging materials, and other supplies
• Report stock shortages and inventory requirements to the supervisor
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and complete daily operational checklists
• Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or operational concerns promptly
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth café operations during busy periods
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Good communication skills in English
• Previous experience as a Barista, Café Assistant, Cashier, or in food and beverage customer service is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Professional, punctual, reliable, and presentable
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
