Junior Planning Engineer – Civil (Construction Division) – Manama, Bahrain

A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer for their Construction Division.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on construction drawings
• Set work programs and target milestones for each project phase
• Update work programs, track actual progress, and identify areas for recovery
• Monitor and record site work progress in coordination with project teams
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for management
• Analyze project data to spot trends and issues
• Assist in resource allocation and leveling to optimize timelines and costs
• Develop baseline schedules highlighting critical path and float time
• Track project progress against baseline and identify deviations
• Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess impact of changes
• Monitor project costs and flag potential overruns

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in project planning or similar roles
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software
• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
