Pharmacist

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a valid NHRA Pharmacist License, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, and experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient counseling.

Job Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide patients with guidance on dosage, usage, side effects, drug interactions, and medication storage
  • Handle narcotic, psychotropic, and controlled medicines in compliance with NHRA regulations
  • Maintain pharmacy records, controlled drug registers, and required regulatory documentation
  • Monitor pharmacy temperature logs and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Manage inventory, including stock receiving, storage, expiry tracking, replenishment, and stock counts
  • Ensure proper arrangement and display of medicines, medical supplies, and healthcare products
  • Process prescriptions, billing transactions, insurance claims, and corporate account documentation
  • Handle daily cash transactions, cash reconciliation, and cash handover procedures
  • Coordinate with suppliers to source medications that are not readily available
  • Support smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations
  • Troubleshoot and report pharmacy software-related issues when required
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent)
  • Valid NHRA Pharmacist License in Bahrain
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medication management, and NHRA regulations
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic computer applications
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
