We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a valid NHRA Pharmacist License, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, and experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient counseling.
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patients with guidance on dosage, usage, side effects, drug interactions, and medication storage
- Handle narcotic, psychotropic, and controlled medicines in compliance with NHRA regulations
- Maintain pharmacy records, controlled drug registers, and required regulatory documentation
- Monitor pharmacy temperature logs and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage inventory, including stock receiving, storage, expiry tracking, replenishment, and stock counts
- Ensure proper arrangement and display of medicines, medical supplies, and healthcare products
- Process prescriptions, billing transactions, insurance claims, and corporate account documentation
- Handle daily cash transactions, cash reconciliation, and cash handover procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers to source medications that are not readily available
- Support smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Troubleshoot and report pharmacy software-related issues when required
- Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent)
- Valid NHRA Pharmacist License in Bahrain
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medication management, and NHRA regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic computer applications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
