QA/QC Engineer

We are hiring a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects. The role involves ensuring that all work meets project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and clients to maintain high-quality construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the document controller in managing and maintaining project quality documentation, including material submittals, method statements, ITPs, test reports, and NCRs
• Preparing daily and monthly QA/QC reports
• Conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with project procedures and standards
• Identifying site issues and preparing observation reports and site instructions
• Reporting deviations and quality issues to the Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Senior QA/QC Engineer
• Monitoring corrective actions and issuing NCRs when required
• Reviewing construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications
• Preparing and reviewing quality documents such as method statements, ITPs, and material submittals
• Conducting internal inspections and ensuring timely rectification of defects
• Managing Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR) with clients and consultants
• Coordinating inspections and approvals with clients and consultant engineers
• Supporting the preparation of project quality plans
• Managing QA/QC records including certificates, test results, non-compliance reports, and site instructions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC within a construction company
• Experience working on contractor-side QA/QC inspections
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards (Lead Auditor certification is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of international and local construction codes and standards
• Experience in construction supervision and quality control processes
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong coordination skills with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AutoCAD
